ENRICO PACE
Born in 2002, he began studying the piano at the age of ten under the guidance of Aurora Cogliandro, with whom he earned the Bachelor Diploma with highest honors, distinction, and Maxima cum Laude at the “G.P. da Palestrina” State Conservatory of Music in Cagliari. He subsequently obtained the Master Diploma with highest honors, distinction, special mention, and Summa cum Laude. He studied at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in the class of Piotr Żukowski and Michał Francuz.
He is currently pursuing advanced studies at the Academy of Music in Pinerolo with Enrico Pace.
In 2019, he was selected to represent the Cagliari Conservatory at the event “Musei di Sera” held at the Vatican Museums in Rome, and took part in the piano marathon featuring the performance of Alessandro Solbiati’s 100 Pieces, held at the Sala Puccini of the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan. In June 2021, he made his debut as a soloist performing Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, Op. 15.
He has collaborated with L’Orchestre Voyageur Travelling Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Cagliari Conservatory, the Typical Tango Orchestra of the Cagliari Conservatory, and internationally renowned musician Stoyan Karaivanov.
He is the overall winner of the 6th National Competition for Young Musicians in Lanusei, the 1st Singing and Piano Competition in Iglesias, the 7th Milan City Chamber Music Competition, the 1st Ischia International Soloist & Chamber Music Competition, the 2nd Franco Margola International Music Competition, the 7th Matteo Sanna Music Competition, the 16th Golfo degli Angeli Competition, and the 2nd Castell’Alfero Piano Competition. He has also been awarded 3rd Prize at the Cassano Magnago Piano Competition and the Giangrandi–Eggmann National Competition; 2nd Prize (1st not awarded) at the 5th Villa Oliva National Piano Competition; 2nd Prize at the 17th National Arts Prize; 1st Prize at the Orbetello Junior International Piano Competition, the 12th International Music Competition for Youth “Dinu Lipatti”, and the 4th Oltregiogo Piano Competition.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he has been an active participant in advanced masterclasses held by internationally renowned artists such as Carlo Balzaretti, Michele Fedrigotti, Alessandro Deljavan, Pierluigi Camicia, Pietro De Maria, Andrea Lucchesini, François-Joël Thiollier, Jean-François Antonioli, Gilles Millet, Filippo Gamba, Patrick Jüdt, Lilya Zilberstein, as well as Enrico Pace and the Trio di Parma, at institutions including the Accademia Chigiana (Siena).
He has performed in numerous concert seasons organized by prestigious institutions such as Ente Concerti Alba Pani Passino - Oristano, Amici della Musica Cagliari, L’Armonica Danza delle Muse of Cagliari, Associazione A. Toscanini of Atripalda, Carloforte Music Festival, Associazione Anton Stadler of Iglesias, Associazione Amici della Casa Verdi, Associazione Spazio Classica of Milan, Associazione Giulio Rospigliosi, Associazione Etruria Classica, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Fondazione W. Walton of Ischia, Società dei Concerti of Milan, Società del Quartetto of Milan, and Kammermusik Bern.
He has always shown a strong commitment to chamber music, as demonstrated by the many concerts performed in various ensembles including duos, trios, quartets, and quintets.
He earned the Master Diploma in Chamber Music with highest honors, distinction, and special mention at the “G. Verdi” State Conservatory of Music in Milan, under Monica Cattarossi. He also completed a Second-Level Master’s Degree in Advanced Chamber Music Performance with the Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi at the “A. Boito” State Conservatory of Music in Parma.
Since 2023, he has been the pianist and co-founder of the Trio Bedřich, together with violinist Margherita Ceruti and cellist Michele Mazzola.
The trio has gained public recognition with 3rd Prize at the 10th Edition of the Milan Conservatory Prize, 3rd Prize and the Audience Prize at the 5th European Chamber Music Competition “Il Gasparo da Salò”, 3rd Prize at the Virtuoso&Belcanto Chamber Music Competition 2025, and 1st Absolute Prize and the Audience Prize at the 29th “G. Rospigliosi” International Chamber Music Competition. They are also winners of the Premio Dragoni 2025, awarded by the prestigious Società del Quartetto of Milan.
They have performed in renowned venues such as Casa Verdi (Milan), Sala Puccini (Milan), Sala Carmen Melis (Cagliari), Salone Pietro da Cemmo (Brescia), Teatro Gonzaga (Ostiano), and Sala Verdi (Milan).
They are currently students of Maestro Bruno Giuranna at the Accademia Stauffer in Cremona and Maestro Patrick Jüdt at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB). They also continue their studies with Monica Cattarossi and have attended numerous masterclasses, including those held by Enrico Bronzi, Alberto Miodini, Pierpaolo Maurizzi, Martina Santarone, Andrea Lucchesini, Enrico Pace and Patrick Jüdt.
